The solid Hemlock Pattern 1930 doors finish at 44mm thick and are manufactured using the traditional mortice and tenon construction which makes them far stronger and longer lasting than using an engineered construction.  They have 4 flat ply panels in each door. The doors are pre sanded but are not finished and would need to be sealed with an appropriate stain/paint suitable for external use to avoid warping. As with any natural material, colour and graining does vary and this is to be expected. The doors are supplied unglazed but we are able to provide this service if required.  We are also able to manufacture these doors in other species of timber – please contact us for further information.
