Description The full story Catarina Von Strassen – Eldritch Fiend Hunter The daughter of a farmer who immigrated from Greypeak to Draksborne, in hopes of a better life. Catarina was among the last to see the deathly shadow of Dragonblight cast over Draksborne. In the town of Clairdel, on Sundestra Island’s southern side, she fought among the last bastion of defenders against the ailment’s blightbound servants. Though she was no warrior; her father was, but his body was frail and quickly succumbed to the famine that starved the land. She had taken up his sword, but had only the will to wield it, not the brawn, nor the skill. As the creatures stormed her town, Catarina was felled by their eldritch strength, and quickly felt the ailment begin to seep through every pore of her dying body. Dozens of miles away, Hendrak, the hivemind of Dragonblight, was in battle against the final forces that could stand before him. As Dragonblight seeped its way into Catarina’s heart and blood, Hendrak saw his final banishment from the plane of Minera, along with Dragonblight. Whilst other puppets of the disease fell to madness or simply keeled over and perished, Catarina was spared in a strange way. The disease had healed her body, yet she could still feel it within her, and control it to her will. From her body she could morph blades, armour, and imbue herself with unbelievable power and speed. With this newfound power, she no longer wished to live the ordinary life her father had tried to create for her in Draksborne. Instead, she travelled to her ancestral home of Greypeak: often her father had told her stories of the horrors that lurked in the stretches of wilderness there. Catarina hoped that she might be able to make the world a better place by ridding them of them, as the grief of her father’s death, and the destruction of her home, engulfed her. In her dreams she still sees visions of her final moments, and the scouring of Clairdel, as if it is a final taunt by Dragonblight from beyond. These concepts are then passed on to our sculptors who meticulously create the stunning models we offer. 32mm and 75mm variants Whether its tabletop adventures, or having a larger canvas to paint, we ensure we supply both 32mm and 75mm of every model and base. Presupported Supports can be tricky. We’ve always found the best way to learn is to try and try again. However we understand adding supports isn’t for everyone. That’s why all our models have pre-supported and un-supported variants.
