PEAT FREE POTTING COMPOST TRIPLE BLENDED A carefully balanced mix of loam, farmyard manure and organic compost with added plant food. Our Peat Free Potting Compost is ideal for shrubs, trees, perennials, houseplants and a wide range of fruit and vegetables. Use straight from the bag for all your troughs, tubs, window boxes and hanging baskets. This peat free triple blend compost is also a great base for sowing fruit, flower and vegetable seeds. It can also be used as a soil conditioner and in spring and autumn makes an excellent garden mulch. For best results as a soil conditioner spread 2-3 inches on top of the soil and work this layer into the top 7-8 inches of soil. Not suitable for Rhododendron, Azaleas, Pieris and other plants that dislike lime. Contains enough food for 4-6 weeks active growth, after this time we advise the use of a good well balanced liquid fertilizer. As with all potting substates it is recommended that this triple blend peat free compost should not be allowed to dry out.
