The Custom Table Tennis Wood Series features the perfect combination of selected woods suitable for players of any level. Our Wood Series Defensive features a classic 5 ply construction of selected softer woods. The combination of the softer woods and total thickness of 5mm allows for maximum feel and control. The blade offers a bigger hitting and blocking area due to the slightly larger head size of 162 x 157mm. The superior quality is the result of the finest specialty woods combined with the latest high-tech manufacturing. The No.1 choice for players looking to improve their game without breaking the bank. Fitted with Xiom Musa rubbers for control and spin. High quality (non tensor) rubbers for excellent control and spin with moderate speed. Made in Germany, offering excellent longevity and a competitive price point. We make up all our bats using rubbers with a sponge thickness of 2.0mm. This is the most popular option and the best balance of speed and control. We always fit the red rubber to the front of the blade and the black rubber on the back.
