With its new structure, it has a square toe profile with a very wide heel, so it is compatible with a wide variety of foot shapes. It means you can train or climb harder for longer at Veloce. The new PAF is like a shock absorber in the heel and works by absorbing excess compression in the toe box but does not reduce the power available to you. The microfiber upper offers a smooth, elastic upper that is extremely comfortable. The double layer microfiber has the ability to unravel the upper part several times and be easily washed. The upper is positioned around the toes, which mates with the sole to provide a soft, close-to-skin feel instantly and without pressure. The wavy strap system locks the foot in place for quicker, flexible closure and reduces excess layers for greater breathability. SCARPA's new S-72 super-adhesive rubber provides excellent friction even when sticking over volumes and smudges, and a tried-and-tested M-50 finger patch keeps those finger hooks locked in place.
